Block Printing & Pour-Over Chai

from £55.00

An Afternoon of Art, Chai & Slow Craft with Ancestree Living

25th July 14:00- 17:00

Join us for a relaxing and creative afternoon celebrating traditional craftsmanship, mindful making, and the simple pleasure of sharing chai.

Hosted by Shashank, founder of Ancestree Living, this hands-on workshop invites you to explore the beautiful art of block printing using his personal collection of hand-carved wooden printing blocks and eco-friendly fabric paints.

Ancestree Living is Shashank's passion project  a lifestyle approach inspired by a desire to honour his roots and preserve traditional craft practices through slow, meaningful creativity.

During the workshop, you'll experiment with colours, patterns, and printing techniques to create your own unique textile piece. Choose to design and print a tea towel or tote bag to take home as a beautiful reminder of your afternoon.

You'll also enjoy a special mini styling session led by Elena, personal stylist and founder of Yellow Souls. Drawing inspiration from Ancestree Living's unique clothing collection, Elena will guide you through the art of colour combinations, pattern mixing, and creating visually balanced outfits. This inspiring session will help you build confidence in expressing your personal style while discovering how colours and prints can work harmoniously together.

As you create, enjoy freshly prepared pour-over chai, delicious Indian snacks, and a selection of nibbles in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

For those looking to make the day even more special, there will be an opportunity to add a beautiful henna design by Niomi when booking your ticket or on the day (subject to availability).
